Features with passive design and unique 2 ports output, LINOVISION's POE-Extender02 can not only extend ethernet and power transmission, but also simplify cabling by running one cable to power two POE devices, such as POE IP camera, VoIP phone, door bell camera, etc.
Interface detail
The CAMERA Port: max 8W power consumption, the OUT Port: max 15W
The POE input port: POE Mode A/B, 2 output ports: POE Mode A only
Max bandwidth :100Mbps

Standard PoE
with hardware PoE Chipset and comfort to IEEE802.3af/at standard, it ensure highly reliable connection when working with standard PoE devices
Three main benefits of using Linovision two ports PoE Extenders:
Extend Distance Each Linovision PoE Extender can extend another 100 meters of PoE transmission. And it supports cascade deployment. For example, it will support 400 meters of PoE transmission when using 3 levels of cascade deployment.
Extra PoE Ports This is pretty useful when there are more than one PoE device in a location, this eliminates the expense to run another ethernet cable. More PoE ports will be available when using cascade deployment.
Plug-n-Play There is no configuration is required and no power supply is required at the device side.

Cooperate with POE-Injector60W, able to cascade level two extender, connect to 3 IPC (level one extender connects to 1 IPC, the OUT port of level two extender and CAMERA port connect to 1 IPC respectively, total power consumption <=25W), transmission distance is 300m
Q.Can this be used for 2 computers instead of 2 cameras? And what are the speeds of this device?
A.
Yes, this can be used for 2 computers and the maxim speed of the input port is 100M. Please be informed that the total speeds of two outputport can’t exceed the speed of the input port. And the speed will be influenced by the transmission distance, the longer distance it is, the slower speed it provides.
Q.Can this be installed outdoor?
A.
This POE Extender is not waterproof. We have 2 waterproof versions, one is the same product with a waterproof case, POE-Extender02WP. The other is the product itself with a waterproof design,POE-Extender02GP(90W).
Q.Will this work with receiving power from a non-passive poe switch? (802.3af / ieee802.3at) will this power a passive device (not 802.3af/ieee802.3a)?
A.
Yes, 'paasive' here means you don't need additional power supplier to power this product separately, but whole system need be powered. This product can work with both poe devices(as poe extender/splitter) and non-poe devices(as ethernet splitter/extender). And please be noted that each port of this product supports max 100Mbps.
Q.Will this passive splitter work with a 24v poe injector and 24v poe devices? or only with ~50 volts?
A.
This POE splitter can't work with 24V POE injector. It's recommended to use poe injector of 48-53V. And please make sure that the total power consumption of two POE output is less than the POE power input (with deduction of 3W power consumption by POE extender itself).
Q.What is the safe operating temperature range for this device?
A.
The operating temperature for this product is -30°C to 65°C (-22 °F to 149 °F).
Q.Does this extender need an addition power supply?
A.
No, it does not require local power supply. This POE extender is powered by PoE devices (48V or 53V PoE Switch/PoE NVR/PoE Injector/Mid-span). it is working well.
Q.Do I need two of these to extend cat6 for 600 feet?
A.
Yes, the POE extender supports cascade deployment, max 300m (1000ft) transmission and running one cable to support 3 IP devices, but 60W POE injector is required and IP camera power consumption should be less than 8W.
Q.What is the load capacity of POE device that connected to this POE extender?
A.
Basically, the load capability depends on the POE supply device, the total power consumption of two POE output is less than the POE power input. For example, if the POE supply unit is a 30W POE injector, then the total output power of this POE extender is less than 27W (with deduction of 3W power consumption by POE extender itself), the longer the transmission distance, the lower power output from POE extender. We recommend to use 60W High POE injector to connect to this POE extender.
Q.I'm looking to upgrade my existing analog cctv system to poe and I'm interested in buying an EOC switch, multiple transmitters, and other accessories.Would it be possible to plug in a POE-Extender 02 downstream of an EOC transmitter? So that I could have 2 poe cameras on a single coax? Assuming both cameras are under the wattage limit.
A.
Please note that the EOC transmitter can indeed be used with the POE-Extender 02. This setup would allow you to connect two PoE cameras over a single coaxial cable, provided that the combined power consumption of both cameras stays within the wattage limit. For your reference, here are some details on coax cable length and bandwidth for the EOC system.
Q.I have a POE supply inside a building, that powers a POE device outside the building. We want to add a PC at the midpoint to the ethernet cable, to monitor the behavior of the outside POE device. Will your 2 port ethernet extender work for this? If not, what should we use?
A.
Please confirm both the POE injector and the POE PD device uses 802.3AF/AT. If that is the case, you should be able to use POE-Extender02 and add a PC in the middle. Please let me know the model number for the injector and the POE device if you are not sure.
