Please note that the 117 KPH wind resistance rating is based on proper installation with sufficient base reinforcement/ballast. Per manufacturer guidance, the standard installation requires approximately 400 kg / 880 lbs of ballast, such as concrete blocks or equivalent weight, added to the base. Additional anchoring, guy wires, or lowering the mast may be required depending on site conditions, wind exposure, installation height, and mounted equipment.
